- IN HIM
The Holy Spirit prophesies about a coming Servant in Is. 42:1 and then in Matt 12:9-21 He reveals to us that it is Jesus. Jesus is our example and He assumed the guise of a servant and became a man. He said “I came not to be ministered to (served) but to minister (serve) and give My life a ransom for many.”
Jesus tells us that we cannot serve two masters and Joshua testifies that as for him and his house they will serve the Lord. We also have this same choice and a wise person will choose to serve God and put Him first.
We will touch on three areas of service – one, to serve God, two, to serve others and three, to serve in the local church. We then close by looking at leaders – they too must be servants in order to succeed.
We are children of God and also, out of love and respect, we choose to serve God our Father in heaven. There are a number of ways we can serve God and one of those ways is to serve Him by getting to know Him better through intimacy with Him – in His Word and prayer.
Paul revealed (in Acts 27:23 … the God of whose I am and whom I serve…) that He served God all the time. When I read this scripture years ago the Holy Spirit impressed on me that this is not just when people are watching or can pat us on the back but is something we do even when no one is watching. The God of whose I am and WHOM I SERVE. The blessing is on the servant who is found watching and doing (Luke 12:35-44). Watching what? Watching, waiting, learning, hearing and receiving from the Lord and then doing what He shows and reveals to us.
Second, we are to serve or love others. We are called ambassadors, representing our King and His kingdom, our Father and His family to those around us. We are not to serve others above God but serve God first and then others.
Thirdly, we are to serve in the local church. I think a lot of people still have the idea that the preacher is to do the work and they are to enjoy the “show.” The way God has set it up is made clear to us in Eph 4:7-16. The purpose of the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher is to perfect, mature and help the saints grow. So they (the saints) can do the work of the ministry which causes the edifying and growth of the Body of Christ. Rev 2:19 tells us Jesus is personally watching our service or lack thereof – revealing to us that it is important to Him.
In 1 Cor 16:15 they were devoted or addicted to serving in their local church. We can too if we will change our mindset to serve God and love people and help our pastor fulfill the God given vision he has received from God.
Finally, Jesus taught that to be great or first in the Kingdom of God we must be servants.
Let me encourage you with Col 4:12 & 17 – we pray that you walk perfect and complete in all the will of God and take heed to the ministry or service that God has given you that you fulfill it. This is the Good Life.

To many people have an entitlement mentality – do you know what I mean? They think their parents owe them something, the government owes them something, society owes them something and their bosses owe them something.
News flash – nobody owes us anything and if we got what we deserved we all would be spiritually lost, deathly sick, broke, miserable, friendless, die young and go to hell.
So let’s forget about what we think we deserve and focus on what God graciously has provided for us In Christ Jesus.
When it comes to money many think it is evil and you don’t want any of that filthy lucre. Others have the idea that how much money we have is not up to us because God is in control and if He want us to have more He will give it to us. Then there are others who love, lust, covet and chase after money and serve it like it is a god – the answer to all their problems.
The middle of the road is to find out what God thinks about money – a clue to this is what heaven looks like (gold, pearls. other precious stones and mansions.) Then find out how to operate with Him to produce financial increase. The Jewish people have been operating from God’s plan for a long time and Rabbi Lapin in his book “Thou Shall Prosper” calls or refers to money as certificates of appreciation. The result of more people appreciating you and your service to them is your receiving more certificates.
Money follows value is a look into the Word of God on the subject of value and service. As I became aware of these principles I began to see more and more scriptures throughout the Bible that reveal this truth. Faith in God and serving others go hand in hand.
In this 6 session 6 hour course we will dig into the Word of God and go through these scriptures and begin to change our thinking about money and adding value to others. If you want to stay broke don’t come but if you want to change your financial future and satisfaction please register and join us.
When you register we will make sure a syllabus is made for you.
Getting results is what we are all want. Why do some people get more than others? Why did Jesus have such success in the results arena? Did those ministered to by Jesus in the new testament and those ministered to by the prophets in the old testament have anything to do with the results they experienced or was it just the “luck of the draw” so to speak?
This course takes us from the what is faith of the first COREcourse to the How do I use it now. Getting consistent results doesn’t happen by accident – it is on purpose and intentional.
Faith without works or corresponding action is dead or dies the apostle James said. I don’t know about you but I want my faith to work and produce not be dead and unproductive.
You don’t want to miss this course on faith especially if you took the first course. You will be glad you came.

Are you troubled, vexed, feeling beat down and scared? What about dismayed or harassed by grief, disease and confusion?
Discouragement is not something we have on our Christmas list and are asking for yet it still tries to come and hang out with us. What can we do or is there anything we can do?
Come join us for an exciting study in the Word of God and get yourself free from discouragement and the harassment that is attached to it.
Join us for this 6 hr (two 3 hr classes) course to find out the answers to these questions and more. Registration is required so a syllabus will be waiting for you.
You will learn:
What discouragement is.
How it comes and what opens the door to it?
What is the opposite of discouragement.
How to combat discouragement.
How to enjoy a life of courage and confidence.
Was God serious when He said in 3 John 2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers”.
Is healing and prosperity part of our redemption along with forgiveness of sins and the New Birth? Is healing and prosperity for all or just a chosen few?
According to the Word of God healing and prosperity is part of our redemption and is for everyone but not everyone is walking in it or enjoying it. Why?
This course will get into the why and the foundation of God’s will being healing and prosperity for you.
You will learn:
God is a healer.
The different ways the healing power is administered.
It is written.
How to believe it and take it.
Rich is a Bible word.
The blessing of Abraham is ours.
Work is not a bad word.
Tithes and offerings.
Ideas, concepts, insights.
Money follows value.
What is sanctification? To many times people have the idea that sanctification and holiness is a bunch of rules and regulations about outward appearance and that cannot be any farther from the truth.
How can sanctification and holiness be filled with life and excitement? It is the result of a close relationship with God – and God is not boring or lifeless.
Holiness is about living a life that is not normal, average, ordinary or mundane but extraordinary – one that is filled with power, joy, authority, victory, strength, love and peace.
In this course you will learn:
Sanctification is part of redemption
What you have been set apart from and appointed to
We are the temple of the Holy Spirit
About our Heavenly seat
Substitutes of holiness
Laying our all on the altar
How to live purposefully
The love connection
Is the Holy Spirit a person or just an influence or natural force?
Can you talk to Him, be instructed by Him, warned and guided by Him? How can He be a part of your everyday life? What are the benefits of His being a part of your daily life?
The Holy Spirit has been sent to help us – without His help we are all just groping around in the dark so to speak. Why be stuck in life just depending on ourselves and our limited abilities and resources when Jesus sent us the mighty Holy Spirit to come along side us and help.
We will get into this and more in this 6 hour course.
In this course you will learn:
Who He is
His part in being born again and filled
He is our helper
Being led by Him
The fruit or results of being united with Him
When the Bible tells us that it is impossible to please God without faith and that the just are to live by it I consider that a clue to find out about this faith thing.
- How do we get faith and when it comes does it also go?
- Does faith need to be fed and can we increase it?
- Faith begins where the will of God is known – how do we know His will?
- What is the purpose of our beliefs?
- Does a good confession automatically mean you are in faith?
- Faith causes you to expect – but to expect what?
- Why is saying what you believe so vitally important?
- What does it mean that faith without works is dead?
You will learn the answers to these questions and more along with the conclusion of 6 areas the enemy uses to neutralize your faith and render you ineffective in your life in God.
What does it mean to be In Him? The phrases in the New Testament – in Him, in Whom,by Him, through Him, because of Him, in Christ, through Christ, in My Name and so on are clues to who God has made us when we were born again and became new creatures in Christ.
You will find out who you are in yourself which is a big difference from who you are In Him. If a person doesn’t know who they are In Christ they will never fulfill their God given destiny or purpose. Who you are In Christ is revealed in the Epistles, which is written to the believers – the Saints. You will learn how and what happens when you become a new creature In Christ. What does it mean to be righteous, accepted and complete in Him. How His choosing you has set you apart and given you champion status – empowered and equipped by Him.
What about healing, prosperity and the blessing? You will find out how being In Him impacts these areas of our life too. You will also learn about the love of God and how He has positioned you to win because of the nature of Love Himself.
Many Christians are stumbling through life because they don’t know who they are and how to live from that place. It is time to step up and enjoy life the way God has designed it for you and glorify Jesus through it.
In this course you will begin to learn who you are In Christ and how to operate and enjoy life from that place.
What is Righteousness? Is it available now or do we have to wait till heaven or is it really ever available? Is there such a thing as a sinner saved by grace or is it one or the other? What is sin consciousness and what are it’s results? Our own righteousness is as filthy rags so what can we do about that?
Jesus was made to be righteousness for us – how did that happen and how can I take advantage of what He did for me? Righteousness has given me a seat – what does that seat look like and how do I function from it?
Many people feel their good works earn their righteousness but you will learn that right actions are a product or result of being made righteous. How can we operate from who we are and not who we are trying to become? The choice is yours.
In this course you will begin to learn that you are the righteousness of God In Christ and how to operate and enjoy life from that place.
